Imagining hidden geological landscapes allows me to make sense of the sometimes loud and chaotic world within. By referencing forms and unseen forces—exposing them as though they've suddenly emerged from deep within the earth—I aim to connect the internal with the eternal. Much like the geological layers of the earth, which carry the imprints of time, pressure, and cosmic forces, my work delves into the unseen dimensions of the human spirit. The process becomes a kind of excavation of the soul, a way to reveal what is often buried deep within, and to make room for spiritual growth, renewal, and understanding.

Oil and acrylic on canvas, framed in a solid ash frame.
