All of my work is concerned with the relationships between things that we can see and things that we can’t. I’m interested in the vastness of the three dimensional landscape under our feet - the mechanisms that formed it, the clues that we can discern, to the mysteries that are held there.

Interested in the interrelatedness of the spiritual and the physical, I often draw parallels between physical landscape and our inner world. I explore the ways in which that which can be observed can give clues to the vast expanse that lies beneath, out of sight.

Inspired by the Pacific Ocean, this seamless felted fibre artwork tube has been created using New Zealand Merino wool and silk fibres. Artwork is mounted on a robust PET plastic support and sits snuggly on a custom made bamboo base.
Lamp holder and cord set with inline switch have been fitted by a registered electrician..

Inspired by geological forms hidden deep underground, formed in the darkness under heat and pressure. The idea of these hidden places suddenly illuminated stirs my imagination.
